Here are some things that typically cause those issues:
- Gutter pulling away – normally this either means there is wood rot in the boards or your gutters are clogging, causing overflow, which will damage your wood and possibly your roof.
- Mold and mildew – indicates moisture gathering in that area, which may mean airflow issues in the roof or soffit region.
- Sagging – is normally a result of old, damaged or degraded materials, caused either by moisture, gutter overflow, clogging in the air holes, or, on occasion, wildlife making its way into the home!
